it's a little hard to see Babs' bow on the bright circle. Maybe replace the circle with the hand or anvil, etc for other things?

How is it hard to see? Not enough contrast? Too small? And being somewhat hard to see isn't necessarily a bad thing. If I were to use it to mark threads a person has posted to, you wouldn't want it jumping out at you too much. The normal black dot isn't that noticable, either.

Just the circle is so bright against babs' light colored bow (which isn't outlined that much). Or maybe if the bow stuck out a little more from the circle... ::shrug:: I don't know. It just took me a while to spot it.

Maybe it's your computer monitor? I see it just fine on my screen here at home. I've noticed, though, that this monitor seems to have much better contrast than many that I've seen, especially the flat screen or LCD monitors.

Does anyone else have trouble seeing Babs' bow? I could mess with it a bit if I have to. As for the other stuff, give me time. The bow took me a while to do, so don't expect anything really quick. I'm not really a pixel artist.

I saw it reasonably well, though I think it might blend a bit with a quick scan down the page.

What kind of monitor are you using. I want to see if there's a pattern.

I see it (1280 x 1024, 17") but it's a bit hard to notice, since it's about 10% of the icon. Try doubling or tripling the size.

I created a simple banner that people can use wherever they like. It's not great, but hopefully it'll help attract some more fans here.

Image

Feel free to link to it from my website, or save it to your own. Code for it is:

Your text is far superior to mine, C.H. I can't do stuff that fancy to save my life. And for some reason I couldn't get the white to turn out white, so it's off-white instead. Kind of matches with this board, though. Oh well.
