I can't believe that as a kid I actually enjoyed that show. What was I thinking?

I was the same. I remember recording most of the episodes a few years back, until I realized that the show paled in comparison to Garfield and Friends. The problems with it included too many 4th wall jokes, making Nermal a jerk, rehashing plots, and just not being as smart as the original show.

Not to mention some of the worst CGI ever put to screen. Was it just me or did the camera never stop moving for so much as a minute? It made the show all the more nauseating to watch.

As time goes on, a person's perspective about something changes.

Nermal was a jerk in the non-CGI show. Remember how he used to rub it in Garfield's face that he wasn't as cute as him?

Yes, and it's called Ren Seeks Help. Watch at your own risk!!

I watched a part of that episode a long time ago. Didn't watch it to the end because everything about was so aggrevating. The animation, the voice acting, the music and especially the writing. What genius decided that the episode should begin with five minutes of nothing but Stimpy crying? Just abhorrent disrespectfulness towards an audience eagerly awaiting a brand new series about their favourite characters.

Never saw it, but Mrenter's review deterred me from going through with it. What's worse is that John K, the creator of the original show, worked on it and wasn't ashamed at all. With that in mind, I'm beginning to question his sanity.

John K. also did a version of Yogi and Booboo. When I first saw it, I thought it was a PARODY of Yogi and Booboo, but officially, it wasn't. Ranger Smith's nose kept turning red spontaneously, and Booboo went feral so he could mate with Cindy Bear.

----

CGI Alvin and the Chipmunks. It seems that Alvin is now 10x the jerk he was in the 80's series, he's so unbearably narcissistic that it's a pain to watch. In one episode Brittany ALMOST falls for him because she overhears him say nice things about her, but when she starts coming on to Alvin, he immediately decides that the only reason she "likes" him now is because her body was invaded by a body-snatching alien.

Yes, with Simon next to him and refusing to believe his explanations and instead choosing to believe a random student from the school.

Naturally, because Alvin refuses to believe that Brittany can like him simply because of who she is, she is "cured" of the crush she had on him, hopefully permanently.

Planet Sheen. This is what happens when you give the comic relief the spotlight.

How could I forget? That show really stunk in its own unique way. Along with butchering Tex Avery's humor with bad timing and stilted animation, DIC was trying to profit off of the name of a dead guy. I'm still questioning the ethics of that idea.

Modern Fairly Odd Parents. It's amazing how little they care in the later episodes, particularly with all the rehashings, new characters, and blatant disregard of continuity.
