That was a good one! Along with hilariously parodying Tex Avery and Schoolhouse Rock, it was hilarious learning how animation is built on plagiarism. If someone hadn't ripped off Honeymooners and Sgt. Bilko, we wouldn't have the Flintstones and Top Cat.

Yeah the relationship between Chester and Roger Myers Srwas based on the claims between Ub Iwerks and Walt Disney on who created Mickey mouse
and the feud between the creators of Feilx the cat

the best bit is the ending where day isn't save by Bart and Lisa but by Eliza and Lester and they being based on the bart and Lisa designs on the tracy Ullman show

Abe Simpson: I thought I recognized you! I gave you a plate of corn muffins back in 1947 to paint my chicken coop, and you never did it!
Chester J. Lampwick: Those corn muffins were lousy!
Abe Simpson: Paint my chicken coop!
Chester J. Lampwick: Make me!
[Abe gets up and the two start brawling]
Marge Simpson: That does it! One of them has to go!
Homer Simpson: Okay, Grampa.
Marge Simpson: No, the B-U-M.
Homer Simpson: Oh.

Lawyer: Krusty, have you ever seen this so-called "animation genius" before?

Krusty: Yes I have!

Lawyer: You have!?

Krusty: I gave him a couple of blintzes to paint my fence but he never did it!

Chester: Those blintzes were terrible!

Krusty: Paint my fence!

Chester: Make me!

(fist fight starts)

Lisa's Susbstitute. While it's still very funny, it's one of the most emotional episodes of the series. Lisa and Mr Bergstrom had such a good relationship together that Mrs. Hoover's retire was positive heart-wrenching.

Burns Baby Burns--for the guest appearance of one of the funniest people who ever lived, Rodney Dangerfield.

Stark Raving Dad. Along with being the first episode produced by Al Jean, it managed to guest star Micheal Jackson without it feeling forced.

That was a classic! Hearing a Simpsons song live is always a treat, and they pulled it off wonderfully. If only they could do that more often.

Lisa VS Malibu Stacy. Along with parodying the Barbie craze hilariously, it has a good message on how just one person can have the power to make a difference.

Bart vs. Lisa vs. The Third Grade

Lisa gets promoted to the third grade while Bart gets demoted to the third grade, causing problems between the two siblings when they're forced to be in the same class together.

Homer's Night Out. While one of the earlier ones and not that funny, Homer's speech about women being treated with respect just makes the episode worth watching.

Wild Barts Can't Be Broken

Thanks to the stupidity of Homer and his friends, the kids of Springfield got a curfew, but that doesn't stop them from sneaking out at night.

Nice little kids vs. adults story.

Simpsons episodes had some good tunes.

That tune you showed me was a parody of "Kids" from Bye Bye, Birdie. Of course, they changed a few notes to avoid lawsuits, but it's still pretty close.
