Bart's Inner Child. Bart may be cool, but a town full of Bart wannabes is really pushing it.

Homer's Phobia. Along with Homer being hilarious as usual, it has a good message about treating homosexuals as equals and to accept your children, no matter their sexual orientation. What's even more amazing is that this aired back in 1997, back when homosexuality was illegal.

The episode where Homer, Apu, Barney and Skinner form a famous barbershop quartet.

Much Apu about Nothing. With the trouble we're having with immigration today, it's nice to have an episode showing it's not as bad as we've made it out to be.

Bart Sells His Soul

The soul is the most important part of the body, but thick-headed Bart never understood that.

One particular episode that's become somewhat popular is the April Fool's Day.

While it's not THAT hilarious by itself, many fans say that the episode still hasn't ended yet.

That is, the fan theory prevalent here is that Homer is still in a beer-explosion-induced coma, and the "proof" of that is that after this particular episode, many subsequent episodes have become more and more fantastic and less and less realistic, i.e., they're all happening inside Homer's head.

The Girl Code. Along with satirizing coputer coding hilarous, it has a good message on how jokes can be taken the wrong way. In the words of Homer, "The phrase, 'It's just a joke!' has ruined so many relationships."

Dead Putting Society

It wasn't really fair for the kids to compete against each other in a miniature golf competition just because of problems their dads (Homer and Ned) had.

Marge Vs the Monorail. A fan favorite episode, and for good reason.

I love the whole Beatles parody and Chief wiggum has some great scenes I like the bit where he get drop from the group and the scene where Homer drops him off in the woods like a dog. I also like the first superman comic referrence where homer going through important items and calling them junk. The end is really touching too where they reunite on Moe's bar

Mother Simpsons. While still a very funny episode, it's one of the most emotional, particularly thr ending.

The Alvin and the Chipmunks parody was pretty neat.

That was my favorite part! I may not have remembered most of the episode, but that part stuck with me forever.
