One of the problems with "All Dogs Go To Heaven" was that he was placing songs back to back, I think he even went for 3 in a row :P :P :P

I agree. You need to space songs out for the audience to truely appreciate them. Another problem is that the songs in the later Bluth films don't movie the plot in any way. You could open a pack of Skittles and there'd be a musical number about it. In fact, the song Marry the Mole won a Razzie for worst song.

Fortunately, I had a big lunch, so even they won't be able to make me hungry. Also, I notice that the Skippy GIF from Bumbie's Mom is the only one you've never replaced, once you put it on.

I'm not ready to replace it.

I wasn't asking you to replace it. It was just an observation I made. You should only replace it when you're ready to.

Don Bluth was a master when it came to tearjerking, heartfelt numbers. Sadly, all that was thrown out in the 90, where every little thing is sung, regardless if it furthers the plot or not.

Not only were his songs tear jerking, but they were also influential for Disney. If we didn't have songs like "Somewhere Out There" and "If We Hold One Together" we would have such classic Disney songs as "Beauty and the Beast" and "Whole New World".
