Never could get into Scooby Doo. Unless it's A Pup Named Scooby Doo.

Never got into it either. I never saw it, but I will give it a chance to give my opinion on it. Also, I noticed that A Pup Named Scooby Doo is usually the only Scooby Too series that even the people who don't like it like. I think it's the self-aware humor that does it for them.

I have to agree But i love Scooby doo. But then again i grew up around it and i grew up around classic cartoons becuase my mom likes cartoons and scifi and introduced me to good artoons liek Woody wood pecker ren and stimpy and shows such as lexx and farscape. But aw for scoby I lvoe all of them save for cooby and shaggy get a clue and the live action movies espcially the first as it made scrappy the villan and he is not a villian hes to cute for that

That's what I like about the show: the humor. That and the quirky animation.

The humor and wild animation came courtesy of Animaniacs and Tiny Toons writer Tom Ruegger. The fact that he did al this before going to WB animation shows that he hit his stride from the start.

yeah I noticed it too What new scooby doo also made fun of itself and the formula. I also like they took Fred exaggerated personalty and had some fun with in It One good thing from the movies it they had Daphne developed martial art skills

As I said before Scrappy didn't bother me the only time I disliked when he was show was when it just Scooby , Scrappy and Shaggy and the short episode cartoons with the real monsters

A flim I like during that era though is Scooby doo and the ghoul school

Scrappy Doo is the eternally unappreciated workhorse of the Scooby Doo universe. Hollywood went out of it's way to irreparably destroy his image, but his stubborn fanbase defiantly soldiers on in lieu of seemingly insurmountable odds. ;) Someday, someone, somewhere has to do him justice in a modern series or feature... or something. It's long over due, and we Scrappy fans have suffered enough! Or maybe that won't happen, ever. Either is possible.

I agree. Even if he was a bit overconfident, he was a far more competent detective than Scooby and Shaggy. Becuase the movie thought that Scrappy bashing is hilarious, they made him the villain for no good reason. Despite this, I find the "Scrappy loses it" Cartokn Network bumper to be hilarious. I practically have his entire rant memorized.

Around the time I was in preschool Scooby-Doo was just about my favorite thing in the world. I had a Scooby-Doo backpack, calendars, little plastic window sticky things and all kinds of other stuff. Over time I gradually got more into other stuff but I still do love it--matter of fact I still walk around with a Scooby keychain on my key ring. I watched pretty much any and all iterations of Scooby-Doo; the original series when it was on Cartoon Network (when they used to do cool stuff like that), plus A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, and I think there may have been a couple others I can't name specifically. As for the movies, I love Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (I tried to wear out the VCR with that one :D ), the Witch's Ghost, and I haven't seen Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders in a long time, but I remember it being pretty good. Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School is another good one, and I'm pretty sure I saw the Boo Brothers at some point, but I don't remember anything about it. I remember seeing the first live action movie when it came out, but I wasn't and still am not all that impressed by it. :| Yup, Hanna-Barbara found themselves a winner in Scooby, considering almost fifty years later they're still milking the franchise. :P  Ah, but I grew up with Scooby and the gang, and I'm definitely glad for it. :)

We can't have a Scooby thread without the Mystery Machine, can we? ;)

I remember my brother Mason being obsessed with Scooby Doo as a kid. Along with dressing up as Scooby for Halloween, we still have all those Scooby DVDs he watched back then.

Did anyone ever explain how they managed to travel around the country and who financed them?
