I didn't think he was that bad. He was pretty funny, and was only in that one episode. At least Rocko didn't get the fat guy.

I thought he was funny too. I guess all that shouting was the Driver's Ed instructor's way of practicing discipline.

If you liked him, why did you put him on this thread?

Thanks for clearing that up! I agree that he had a bad temper, but it was the funny kind of temper. At least he didn't try to murder his students like Mr Puff did in the episode "Demolition Doofus".

Terri and Sherri from The Simpsons.

They could get pretty annoying at times. Their worst moment I remember was in Bart Gets an F, where they intentionally gave Bart wrong answers during his cram session. Even though he'd fail anyways, he didn't need them making it worse.

Post-death Brian from Family Guy. I haven't seen most of the modern episodes of the show, but him knowingly giving Stewie herpes without any remorse just made him irredeemable.

I think we can all agree that the characters from Family Guy are far beyond hope. :x The myriad of fundamental problems with Family Guy began as soon as they returned from cancellation. There was a noticeable difference right out of the gate. Everyone in Quahog was meaner and a lot more selfish. Things like the rest of the family treating Meg horribly. Several scenes that featured her would often end with her running off camera crying because of some screwed up and unprovoked thing one of her family members did to her.(Peter is most often the culprit) Is that supposed to be funny? Am I supposed to laugh at someone being physically, emotionally and mentally abused by her own family? You know what's scary, is that Meg's reactions to her mistreatment are chillingly realistic. There's nothing cartoonish or over the top about her crying or the portrayal of her depression and occasional slip from reality. Again, how is this funny?!!! It's no longer possible to feel sorry for characters like Peter and Lois when bad things happen to them, because they've become such horrid and heartless people. Meg and Joe Swanson are the only two characters left on the show that are even remotely likeable and invoke any sort of sympathy whatsoever. Which is ironic, because they've become the punching bags of the series. Quahog has become such a loveless and hateful place, there's really no fun to be had there anymore. The characters are all brittle shells of their former selves. How this show went from being one of the most enjoyable animated sitcoms ever produced, to becoming one of the cringiest is truly a depressing thing to ponder. :(

I agree. Along with overusing cutaway gags and pop culture references, everyone was Flanderized. Peter became a brain dead jerk, Lois became a female version of Peter, Stewie became a gay stereotype, Meg became an abuse victim and Brian became a mouthpiece for the creator's viewpoints. The whole Meg abuse thing reached its nadir in Seahorse Seashell Party, where Meg rightfully calls her family out on it, but returns to her abuse victum status since not having a scapegoat makes the family fight with each other. As Mrenter pointed out, the moral seems to be "You should stay in an abusive relationship for the abuser's benefit." To cover up from that, we got the episode Screams in Silence, which, along with generalizing domestic abuse, claims that if you're an abuse victim, you don't deserve to be called a woman.

I didn't mind him either. He may have been a tad annoying, but he was a much more competent detective than Scooby and Shaggy, and helped get the job done.

They sure gave Lisa a hard time. Teasing her and all.

Along with that, Sherri and Terri's relationship with Lisa was wildly inconsistent. One minute they're teasing her, the next minute they're her "friends". I wonder why Lisa never ditched them with how much they teased her.

Post-season 5 Mr and Mrs. Turner from Fairly Odd Parents. By the time we find that they forget to feed them sometimes, they had crossed the line from apathetic to downright abusive.
