What is with WWB being shoehorned into direct to DVD movies? Will people pay 15 bucks just to see WWE Stars? Just because it's popular doesn't mean it'll work.

If people really want to see any of the WWE stars, they could just tune into to the real thing on Monday and Tuesday nights for free. Even though we all know there's no actual entertainment value in any of it.

I understand your points but I quite enjoyed both the flintstones one and the two scooby doo ones . Fred and Barney have also shown they like wrestling and boxing the in classic series. It still odd that their did but again the films have made money. It also can't strange then having tom and jerry cross over with Jonny Quest (yes that did happen)

Never saw that one, though the idea sounds interesting. I think they Tom and Jerry crossing over with Pixie, Dixie, and Mr. Jinks would be a better idea. I could see Tom and Mr Jinks teaming up to get rid of those "meeces".

It was one of the direct-to-video movies. I don't blame you if you've never heard of it.

I knew it existed, I just never watched it. While it sounds decent, I know it won't be as good as the classics.

Jerry could be annoying sometimes. Like when Spike was giving Tom a hard time.

I agree. I think his worst moment would be raiding the kings banquet, leaving Tom to be beheaded. Still, his motivation was understandable, but Tom was just doing his job.

That execution scene sent a chill down my spine.

I do like the Chuck Jones T&J...many have said it's like Roadrunner and Wile E. Coyote...I still think it gave Tom and Jerry a comeback after the dreadful Gene Dietch years!

I agree. While they are leagues ahead of the Gene Diech Era, they still aren't as good as the classics. I wonder how the Roadrunner would turn out if they were directed by Hanna-Barbera.

The Gene Deitch shorts could've been better.

I agree. Along with wonky animation and poorly mixed music, the gags never hit. The worst one would be High Steaks, where Tom tries to stop Jerry from raiding a barbecue, only to get horribly abused by his owner. The shorts were bad enough to get parodied inter Simpsons episode Krusty Gets Cancelled, where Krusty replaces Itchy and Scratchy with "Europes' favorite cat and mouse pair" Worker and Parasite.
