I already knew that. From the 70s style animation, it was clear that these were only during the peak of Flinstone's popularity.

The Happy Household

All Wilma wanted was a job. It's not all about Fred's needs. He acts as if "wife" is another word for "cooking".

I never really liked that episode. While the gags were decent, Fred was just a selfish jerk who only wants her tv show gone so he can have Wilma cook her meals. What does Fred have against TV dinners, anyway?

Fred Strikes Out

Fred was supposed to take Wilma out on a date. It was the anniversary where Wilma accepted his marriage proposal. Also, Fred wanted to make up for the times he let Wilma down. But he goes bowling instead. It was for the championship and if he didn't show up and help his team win, he would let them down and would no longer be a Water Buffalo. And that's more important than saving a marriage?

I will never understand Fred's priority placements. Fortunately, Fred gets his comeuppance when his hand gets stuck in a bowling ball, giving him no choice but to tell Wilma the truth.

Lying leads to nothing but trouble. Or in this case, hysterical trouble.

The Monster from the Tar Pits. Hollyrock film company goes on location in Bedrock to film its new feature "The Monster from the Tar Pits," and gullible Fred is enlisted as stand-in for star Gary Granite. This wouldn't be a problem if Wilma and Betty didn't audition and go crazy upon meeting movie stars Rock Pile and Wednesday Tuesday.

The Picnic

For the people of Bedrock, having food of epic proportions is normal.

I think the huge portions are because most of the meat comes from dinosaurs, who are notoriously large. I bet brontosaurus meat tastes like steak.

That still happens today. A lot of husbands place sports on a higher priority than marriage.

Seriously? It's almost like sports has a hypnotic ability to destract men from everything important, including marriage. For some reason, I'm immune to it.

No matter how many times Fred messes up, Wilma doesn't leave him.

I renounced fandom of all organised sports in 2005. Everything was becoming a guessing game for who WASN'T using steroids...or bribing officials.

The Snorkasaurus Hunter. While the episode was already pretty good, hearing Dino talk with an indecipherable accent just made it even funnier.

Fred's New Boss

It's Barney and of course, Fred isn't pleased. Especially with him giving orders.
