This show gave us hordes of awesome characters, but who was a cut above the rest? Who was just that much cooler? Weigh in on your favorite characters from the Animaniacs!

For me, it doesn't get any better than Pink & the Brain. They had the balance, for adults humor, slapstick humor, and probably the most original attempts at taking over the world ever.

Not only that, but they had a penchant for some of the most memorable one liners on the show.

the warners. depending on my mood I vary between liking Y W or D the most. currently I'm in Yakko as my favorite mode & have been for a while. Dot hasn't been my favorite since elementary school. But I like all 3 the best.

P&B I only liked from the spin off (the 1st one not PE&B).

My dad hated Katie Kaboom.

I've always been a fan of Groucho Marx (even back before I knew who he was... my first introduction to him was through parodies (in fact I think I recall some from TTA)) so Yakko certainly hits high on my list. These days, since I've started watching the show again, I find that Slappy and Skippy make a good combination. Puns and "old school" cartoon violence (and poor Bumbie's mom...).

I didn't like Minerva Mink, all that much. She seemed a little stereotypical bimbo who has it, flaunts it, and uses it to take advantage.

Katie was fun, sometimes.

Slappy was the best.

The Warners were a close second, because they were just so wacky.

The Warners were definitely my favorites, with Dot way ahead of both Yakko and Wakko. I mean, she's just so cute! ;) I really liked the way they were family and stuck together. After them, Slappy was probably my next in line. I love her wit and sarcasm, and she's a squirrel. I have to love squirrels. After her, it gets harder to decide. I guess Pinky and the Brain, but I keep forgetting that they were a part of Animaniacs, since the split off from the show later. I agree that they did have some of the best lines, and the premise of their cartoons was just so wacky that it was hard not to like them.

Slappy is my number one favorite hands down. Followed closely by Minvera Mink, Yakko Warner, Rita, and Pinky.

(Thanks for reviving the thread.)

I like Warners the best. I always have. When I first started watching Animaniacs, I only watched their shorts. Yakko will always be my favorite, and Wakko is a really close second. (I also like Groucho and Harpo in that order). I think I just have trouble liking female characters. I like Dot's voice (as much as I can like Tress's voice), I like that she's both feminine and has a "boyish" side, and I empathize with her being the younger sister to two older brothers. I do like her, just not nearly as much as Yakko or Wakko.

I still have a very strained liking for a few others. I always liked the Goodfeathers (all three collectively, because I didn't really have a favorite); Pinky and the Brain, of course; Slappy great, and I liked Skippy's character, but his voice (it's breathiness? maybe it's just the possible nepotism involved in the casting) sort of grated on my nerves.

I never really liked Katie Kaboom. If I had to live with a teenage girl, I'd probably like it, but since I am one, it's just sort of "meh." The only ones I absolutely hated were Mindy and the Hip Hippos.

I have three-four characters

Skippy Squirrel for his amazing SPEW line.

Minerva Mink for her "sexy" appearance.

And Yakko & Wakko for their HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOO NURSE line. :D

I've liked The Goodfeathers, which was a spoof of the 1990 film "The Goodfellas". Pesto was Peschi, Bobby was Pachino, and Squit was Liotta (I felt sorry for Squit...he always got short-ended)!

Actually, Bobby was Robert De Niro.

Skippy is my favorite, then Slappy, followed by Pinky and The Brain, and finally The Warner Siblings.

I've never seen the Goodfellas, but I still knew the Goodfeathers were based on them. They were usually ok to watch, and I think Pesto was my favorite of the three, but I definitely preferred other characters.
