Like make you curious and want to find out more about the spoofed and parodied material, or go deeper into Tiny Toons?

Me:
The Adventures Of Milo And Otis
Anvil Chorus song
Carrie (the 1976 horror movie)
Citizen Kane
Kon-Tiki (black and white documentary movie)
Nightmare at 20,000 Feet (the early 1980s remake)
Oklahoma! 1955 musical movie
The Raven (A poem by Poe)
Tiny Toon Adventures Buster Busts Loose! SNES game (bought one off eBay)

plus others :) that I can't recall for now.

I think it definitely got me interested in Citizen Kane. It's fun, watching the movie and thinking, "Hey, they did that part on Tiny Toons."

I became really curious about Citizen Kane after watching the Citizen Max episode.

Despite the movie's age, it was not boring. I watched it twice.
Rosebud was intriguing.

FYI, the main character in Citizen Kane made much of the U.S. population panic on Halloween eve 1938.

I didn't know anything about Carrie before Babs brought her up. So I found out for myself. Now, it's one of my favorite horror movies.

All of those things, and more! Shows like Tiny Toon Adventures and Mystery Science Theater 3000 gave me a huge interest in things like oldies from the 50's and 60's and such, as well as old movies both good and bad. :ugeek: The world really lacks shows like that these days, sad but true.

Funny thing, I had seen Milo and Otis several times before Tiny Toon Adventures referenced them. I was able to recognize the reference. :ugeek:

Fido and Mewmew.

The Grossanne segment from Acme Cable TV sort of got me interested in the actual Roseanne show.

After watching the TTA spring break special, I watched Free Willy on DVD.
I hadn't watched that heartwarming movie since more than 5 years ago.

I didn't know that TTA segment was based on an actual TV show.

I had a classmate once who spent an entire period picking his nose and wiping it on the bottom of his desk. We were watching a film and the lights were out, but someone saw him doing it. Soon just about the entire class was aware of the shenanigans. After much giggling and whispering one of them wrote a small note informing him that we were all seeing what he was doing and threw it on his desk. He opened it and casually read what was on it, then crumbled it and tossed it in the trash can. He then looked up in their general direction, shrugged his shoulders, and went right back to picking his nose and wiping it everywhere. I was an onlooker for this entire thing, and while it was certainly disgusting... I do have give that guy respect for committing to his habit.

Exactly!

Free Willy is a very unique film. A rather important one too.

It sort of makes you rethink Sea World. Are they REALLY taking care of those poor creatures? Ha! Please. They're torturing them just by keeping them there.
