She also had a lengthy cameo roll on Animaniacs. Even they were powerless against her.

Ugh, why did they have to use her so much?!!!

Because people love the timeless tale of good versus evil. ;)

I blame the executives.

Yeah, that sounds good too.

I think that all it was was that she simply had a really great agent. ;)

Despite the theme song blaming the executives, according to Peter Hastings, this was all Spielberg's idea!

Spielberg? Naw, he's a genius. He never seems to disappoint people.

Remember when Spielberg turned guns into walkie-talkies?

No, but it sounds like a neat idea.

At least he never went back to any of films years later and changed an entire scene around.
Zeta was at least popular in his own right. ELMYRA was not. She was kinda cute when she squeezed the animals in bear hugs and stuff, but then it just gets completely grotesque and hard to like her when she plays with dangerous tools and it's shown that she kills most of her pets. There were so many better candidates. heck, even Plucky could have gotten a real Spin Off if they left him. Let's face it, The Plucky Duck Show could've worked if they did real episodes instead of just Tiny Toons reruns.
The idea of Plucky getting a genuine spinoff is what has inspired me to write a fanfic based on the original premise. I'm currently writing the pilot which explains why he and his friends leave Acme Acres to start anew.

It'll be much better than how this show handled it. I know the premise was that Pinky and the Brain decided to lay low from Faust in Elmyra's house, but what bugged me was that Elmyra lived in a brand new area, attended a different school and Max had been dumped.

I recall that was a theory on the internet that said the reason why Elmyra lived in a different place was because she had been expelled from Acme Loo and her parents had to move because no other school would accept her.

I feel PE&B was milking the Tiny Toons/Animaniacs Series dry.

It's now not as memorable as "Tiny Toons" or "Animaniacs"!

Good thing too! Although I thought that shoehorning Elmyra into something she doesn't belong in was a terrible idea. The staff thought so too. I still can't believe that the opening said that they were forced to make the show. :D

"You'll Never Eat Food Pellets in this Town Again" was the final P&TB short written by Peter Hastings before he resigned, and it was a massive F-You to the executives. He probably knew what was going to happen. Thankfully this train wreck was cancelled after 13 episodes.
